OK Guys/ Girls/ AC-DC... glad to be back on the USA soil after 3 days in Little Saigon S.CA , 8 days in Japan , 4 days in Taiwan and 3 days in S.Korea
Cherry blossom in Japan beautiful, started blooming in Tokyo and by the time we got to Kyoto it was a full boom , but that created a different kind of problem with allergy issue, including me, Some started with allergy then became mild fever, by the end of the Asia tour, 75% tour members had some type of coughing (we used wet tissues and medical masks on tour bus to minimize sickness). Went to the fish market in Tokyo, cruised the Tokyo river and visited several temples in Tokyo. Kyoto was a beautiful town , full bloom of cherry blossom, really beautiful , visited the Toyota museum and several temples , had Kobe beef - probably not the highest grade which was $100/lb in Kobe - but still pretty good, visited several temples in Kyoto/Kobe/Osaka. The white castle is huge and beautiful ... I like Japan , but I think its food has a sweet flavor for my taste... Sushi with raw fish was excellent, very clean Chinatown in Tokyo

We took a one-stop bullet train from Kyoto to Osaka, great ride (300 km/hr) ,and flew out of Osaka (interesting man-made airport on an island) to Taipei
First time in Taipei so did not know what to expect, old island , we traveled from top to bottom of Taiwan, interesting country but not as exciting as Shanghai , food was OK (Cantonese style) IMO not as good as Schezuane style in Shanghai
We then flew from Taipei to S. Korea , Mike Pence landed about 15 min after we did , and for that reason we did not go to the DMZ which is only 35 miles from Seoul, visited the Namiseom island where they made the famous TV drama series WINTER SONATA in 2002. I like Korea , food was better for my taste... one thing I learn from the Korean tour guide is that they still hate the Japaneses
Quick report.... If U enjoy Cherry blossom , Japan - especially Kyoto is the way to go ... but it's a miss or hit depending on when U arrive
