WTF is going on.... Something is very wrong with this country

The answer is obviously the need for more guns. Ideally we'd have every man, woman, and child armed with their weapons pointed at each other so that others knew what they were getting themselves into. Crime would obviously drop to zero.

If you give everyone a gun, you can be certain that you've armed a criminal.
Gun ownership should be treated as a privilege - not a right. The next most lethal thing any person can own is an automobile, and look at how highly regulated that is. Why is the second most lethal possession more highly regulated than the MOST LETHAL?
There's your problem.

The sarcasm of my post obviously didn't convey too well. I've been having heated arguments with the gun-clinging folk in my life and unfortunately they honestly believe the answer is increased access to guns. It's so stupid.
