Welcome aboard, BBG. I'm......sh*t, I forget what I call myself. Damn. Don't STFU. Post. Notice that although the Other Place has almost 900 times more members, this place has many times the posts since it was founded two weeks ago. This is an infant that is growing exponentially whilst the old place is a geriatric behomoth close to total systems failure. Be glad you got off before it goes super-nova.

Re: new member
BlueBallGolf, spare us the suspense and just tell us already which member you're an alias for. I don't mean to sound paranoid, but we'll figure it out anyways, this way you spare some goodwill and don't have to be so careful staying concealed.
BTW, isn't it interesting how GR couldn't accept new members but we can through it's referrals. So an alias does have some basis to claim authenticity. But I'm not buying this one.

I can't even figure out who some of the posters are that didn't keep their old GR names. And although I know who mostly German is I keep confusing him with Not a German.
Welcome aboard BBG.

Re: new member
I only talk to new members after they've achieved the following:
- Made me laugh
- posted something that indicates some knowledge of the game and equipment
- purified themselves in the waters of Lake Minnetonka.

Seems an odd statement since you're married to one?

Possibly quite understandable. Some blokes don't take well to long term marrige.Kiwigolfer wrote:edgey wrote:Greetings

Also I noticed BBG said he was a lurker. Perhaps he didn't post there?
Welcome Bluey. (You'd get that if you were an Aussie).

Perhaps he was unable to post there. I look in there periodically even though I have been cut off like most of the rest of us and all I see for new members and those members who are on-line are those with those computer-generated looking screen names. Originally, I thought that maybe they were all Asians, eastern Euro's or Persians or Trans-Jordanians or Ethiopians or Somalis or residents of other terror haunts, but now I have come to the conclusion that the website itself has been manufacturing these new members but they never post because they do not exist in the physical plane which is a necessity for the posting of sentient thoughts.

Gotta be. It's pretty typical of Aussies sense of humour.
