I really hate ferrules. Because the modern ones are cheap plastic and almost always melt when close to the torch or heat gun. And then I have to run to the golf supplies store because the big chain stores are too lazy and ignorant to stock the basic .335/.350/.355/.370 mix. And the golf supplies shop closes at 5 pm on weekdays and the only time I can get there is 10-3 on Saturday. The last handful I bought several weeks ago for a Mizuno re-shaft were black with double gold bands around the tops. Look pretty classy.

I don't recall meeting any cute ferruls. Most of the time they hiss and whine at night and get in fights with other cats.

I never found the one called "Will" on Saturday Night Live all that funny, either.
