Last 2 rounds I shot 89 and 87, that's very good by my standard... Have a T-time tomorrow at Wyncote in PA... If U are close to it, then U should play it, highly recommended. Mongrel and your buddy should try there, not too far from Pilgrim Oaks and I take Wyncote over Pilgrim Oaks anytime

I've put a Taylormade SLDR TP 460 10.5 in the bag. It's set to about 9.5 degrees with the weight a little toward the draw side. It's the white colored one. I have to say this is one of the best looking drivers at address. The head has a great shape to it. I can really work the ball with this club. Sunday I face an uphill dogleg right and hit a perfect fade up the hill.

Unfortunately, since I only play about twice a month my short game has gone to hell. I can't seem to putt or make anything. I actually chili dipped a chip shot and that's something I haven't done in quite a while. I feel lucky if I make a 6 footer.

As for my drives, though, I'm hitting them long as ever. This club does make a difference for a high spin player.

For reserves, I've got a Ping i25 driver with a PWR 70 Stiff Flex, 9.5 and it's a bomber. Doesn't look quite as good at setup as the White SLDR Driver. I've also got a Titleist 913 D2 with Aldila RIP Phenom....definitely wins in the feel department and when hit flush is the longest of the three.

There's a new member in our club. A young guy (early 40's at most) who bags a SLDR driver. One of the silver heads. He put an X flex Fuji shaft in it cut down to 44" and he chokes down another two inches. He has a short backswing well short of parallel and a full follow=through. Big guy built like an NFL linebacker. Trajectory is so high that it took me two rounds to be able to follow it. Tour distance maybe 20-30 yards past mediocre PGA guys.

    Hello!
I totally forgot about this place.
Got my game under control this past winter. Down to an 8 index. We drove back to Long Island mid May and I froze my ass off in the 50-60 deg weather for a month. Now that it's finally back to the 80's, my game is again under control.
Still playing the G15 driver with a little lead tape on the back, makes it a bit more forgiving.
I had a Titleist fitting in florida in April. After an hour of changing shafts, my 910d2 was going really good. Then tried the 917d2 head. Same numbers. So then i asked the fitter, could i compare the G15? Same numbers!! So i guess I saved $550.
Having trouble lately with my Scotty, so i'm back to the Odyssey. Face balanced is better than toe balance, for me.
Can't wait to get back down south!

I've quit golf to watch the greatness that is our President.  Liberals are taking it in the ass, as they deserve for their stupidity.  Right wing wackos are taking it in the ass.  Kim Jong Il is taking it in the ass.  The "Media" is taking it in the ass. And some of us are making real money again.

Life is good.  First snow coming soon.  Hope everyone from the old days is still above ground.

    God Bless President Trump.

    This disturbs me.

After not hearing from my friend for so long,

the first thing I have to say to him is,

    FUCK YOU, LORENZO.

Even joking, trolling praise for such a cretin would, if hell were real, condemn your soul for eternity.

For many male liberals, taking it in the ass is frequently a highlight of life. Right wing zealots, not so many. The Media is good and truly fucked. The Climate is changing. So nothing we can do about it except move the fuck upland away from the water, stupid dipshits, turn up the AC or turn up the heat. Kim Jong XXX is all theatre.

First, let me just say God Bless President Trump.

We've learned many times the key to advancement on every front, social, economic, health, etc. is economic growth.  Obama strangled us.  Now we're making big money again.  To act noble but then cut against economic growth isn't just ignorant and detached from reality, it harms the very people such individuals pretend to want to help.

Nice to hear from you guys, hope you're all well.  Even you Nifty.  Despite the damage your kind has done and tries to do, the bastardization of education, etc., I wish you the best.

My door is open for any who'd like to meet up and ski.  Convince me you're not filthy or dangerous and you might even have a place to stay.  Fall here is lovely.  Come on out Nifty, there's nothing you can say to me that can offend.  I like you....you know that, right?

Finally got rid of the soup bowl this year and am bagging the M4. Hate the soft wet squishy sound of impact but love the high flight and low spin, and I think that twist face thing actually does work. A little toe or heel hit and the thing ends up in the middle of the fairway. Of course, a serious miss is still serious, but I think it does clean up on the small misses.

The only soup spoons still in the bag are that 13 degree 3 wood you always noted that I hit well, and the gaybrids. I've got rid of the four iron and am bagging three gaybrids now. When you swing it like a senior citizen, they do help.

It's been about a year since I posted on this thread so about time to jump back in.

I've been busy reveling in prosperity and advances we're making in trade, immigration, nuclear arms control and media shaming.

I did have a disturbing experience last week.  There was this guy having a seizure and foaming at the mouth who had fallen on to my property from the sidewalk.  I ran out to help but noticed he had VOTE BERNIE SANDERS t-shirt on.  So I just kinda dragged him off my property and back onto the sidewalk and went back in to watch football.

The Rams look good this year.

I go easy on Bernie voters. Bernie is a warm and fuzzy bundle of neurons reminding me of a cross between Bert and Ernie. And just think that every Bernie voter meant one less vote for the urine-soaked vodka depository adorned in a pants suit.

In Bernie's world, reality doesn't much come into play. Concepts like splitting the vote is steeped in the kind of reality whining babies have a difficult time grasping. Carrying that a little further, Bernie looks like a grandfather, the perfect meme to get out the baby vote. Waaaahhh!!!

So who is still around from the GR days? - Page 2 Empty A few new clubs

Post  FamousDavis Tue Sep 25, 2018 4:03 pm

I'm now back to the Titleist 990 irons and playing a Titleist 917 8.5 Driver with Aldila RIP Alpha stiff. I've been dating a few different women. One gave me tickets to a 3-day concert named Kaaboo. I saw Billy Idol.

I've decided that the only golf shoe worthy of my golfing ability is the Footjoy Dryjoys Tour. I have two pair. I love my new Under Armour golf shorts as well. I've bought some really nice Nike and Travis Mathew shirts, golf belts, golf shorts and I must say I look pretty dashing on the course.

    I'm still in great shape.

Flame all you want, my dago friend.

I'm on a different forum shitting on fascist Trumpanzees these days.

Right now, though, I've been shitting on black voters and hippies
who came out for Obama and stayed home for Secretary Clinton.

They thought it was a choice between two equal evils.
I hope the pieces of shit enjoy the SCOTUS with scumbags Gorsuch and Kavanaugh on it.

I'm finishing up my life as a grumpy old man just looking for fights and finding them.
It was pre-ordained by the fates.
I will do some serious damage before I go down for the count, though.
    That's pre-ordained as well.

Well the mid-terms clearly show the electorate is choosing to distance themselves from the Democratic Party. Exit polls show it's that they have nothing to contribute except tantrum throwing over how the Constitution works, even though it's worked for them too.  Bizarrre old children socially isolate themselves, Nifty is a perfect example.  Detachment from reality and inability to actually accomplish anything in the real world requiring a shred of ability to compete.  Their dramatic under-performance despite media coddling tells all.  In short...they're losers and Americans don't like losers.  That's just the way it is, I'm only expressing reality which admittedly they aren't capable of grasping.

Congratulations to President Trump and the many Republican Senators, Governors and elected representatives who are earning this country's trust, not necessarily to act like their grandfathers but to get shit done in this the real world.

Under normal circumstances, I'd tell this devolved wop to go back to the boot.
Since the prick is in Utah, however, that's its own punishment.
Sort of like Moscow without the fancy domes.

Democratic Socialism will complete its defeat of Republican Fascism in 2020.
Repairing the sabotaged judicial system may take a bit longer, but that's coming too.
The trumpanzees will be made to answer for the Gorsuch and Kavanaugh appointments.

I know that Lorenzo is doing his best to make the orange orangutan look credible with his assessment of immigrants,
but that being the most impressive accomplishment of his life, one would think that he'd take a lower profile.
