The Titleist MB 714 Irons replace the 712 MB irons and as this is predominantly a tour model then Titleist have refined the previous range with some small changes to the appearance of the club.

The leading edge is a little straighter and the hosel offset has been blended a little more to maintain the angle but look sleeker at address. The biggest change is the increased camber on the sole of the club to help it go through the turf more easily and this is certainly does. The short irons in particular were very good, but you could feel the benefits right through the set.

The styling is classic and clean giving a no-nonsense impression and is similar to its sister model, the Titleist CB 714 sale. The specifications for loft and lie are also the same so this makes it very easy to blend the two sets together if you want a little more forgiveness in the longer irons.

Titleist MB 712 irons have a nicer satin finish that looks a little more contemporary than the previous polished chrome look. The tweaks to the sole design and the heel and trailing edge reliefs do make this a lovely iron to hit, especially from tight lies. It also enables a little more mass to go into the muscle back behind the face for a more solid feel.

Hitting the green on your approach shots are a given as a low handicap gofer, you will want a club that allows you to shape your desired shot to the green based on your approach and also australia golf online that allows you to control your spin, this is where the Titleist MB 712′s come in to their own. these are a set of blade irons that you want to be seriously considering.

The cheap Titleist MB 712 Irons do look good, the sole has been improved slightly it features a shorter head, which you won’t see from the competitors blades. When standing over the ball the club looks nice, there is zero offset, you are instantly going to feel confident with these clubs. Shots from these irons feel very soft and controlled, the shape of the trajectory is good, a nice true flight, very much what you would expect from a set of Titleist irons.

Overall this is an excellent elite players blade iron but probably a little too demanding for virtually all amateurs, who would be better going for the Titleist AP1 714 Irons which are a little more forgiving with similar Tour level performance.

The model number has an interesting historical significance. In the early 1970's, the yellow pill manufactured by the Rorer company had that number stamped on each tablet. Known as the "Qaalude", this little dude would take ahold of you and put you on the floor. Especially combined with alcohol. Hopefully, the irons will not cause wayward shots that fall into water and bang into walls.
