US v. Mexico - World Cup Qualifier

Anyone watch it last night? I watched a good deal of it, and my god is that sport ever boring. I have played soccer against Mexicans before and they are very dirty players (literal and figurative). I figured I would get some sort of satisfaction out of watching Team USA beat Team Mexico, but that really wasn't the case. Half of the US Team looked like Mexicans anyhow. They probably just had parents who were good swimmers/runners/border patrol avoiders.
Holy shit, if that is the world's #1 sport, the rest of the world needs to get out more.

I watched a little bit of that because my Son watched it... Yes, it's very boring game, I know, I was the team captain in HS and it was almost the only game in town (Saigon). I think other sports with high scoring like Basket ball , baseball etc... are less bored to watch (have we watched a 0-3 football game, how boring could it be). A lot of people still think golf is a boring game, only those of us who play find it fun and challenging , right?

Soccer is so bad I can't even pretend to defend it. Thank god we as Americans have other sports to play and spectate.

It's no wonder there are lots of riots following football matches. Who doesn't feel like resorting to violence after watching 90 minutes of that frustrating  inaction?
