If U ever pass by the state of Delaware and want to test your golf skills then U should try this golf course. It's in a horse racing track/ casino so it's catering for high rollers and it's PGA quality golf course. Played for the 4th time yesterday with a colleague from Taiwan and once again it's too much for me, shot 46 front and 52 back.... Most greens are uphill and a lot of water/ creeks to deal with. If U are shooting high 70s and low 80s then you would love this course

My wife and I have driven up there several times after they put they installed the first batch of slot machines in the late '90's. The first time we went was on a Saturday morning on a drive that started out as just a cruise so I could wring out the new Pontiac coupe my wife had bought herself. So we get there, go bet on two races (she's Irish and knows the ponies), then go have lunch with her winnings, and then go downstairs to throw a couple of dollars into the slots. After about 10 minutes, she wins $1,200 and we go home. I don't remember seeing a golf course there but it was on my club's list to play last year but the event got dropped due to lack of enrollment. Probably the price. Ironically, I knew the old man who owned the property from several real estate auctions I managed. I remember a call with him about a property and he told me that the Delaware legislature had just approved slot machines for his track and he said that he thought that they "would have some fun" with them. Several years later we met at another auction and I asked him how the slots were coming along. He told me that the gross take for the past year was $1,000,000 per day for the 364 days they were open. Closed on Christmas. That's some cash flow there.

You guys should play there... at least once. Bring your gaybrids, you will need them to fly on elevated greens... very challenging course even from white Ts (tough 6000 yds)

Over half the guys in my group pull hybrids from their bags for anything longer than 140.
