He also gets free Nike clothing. That would be pretty cool if you think about it. I mean, Nike stuff is expensive. All the free shoes, shirts, hats, gloves, etc. Plus, Nike makes gear for all sports and probably even has a line of clothing to wear casually.

The coolest thing of all though, had to be when he was sponsored by Buick and could get any Buick car he wanted.

The best cars ever produced by Buick were the Grand Nationals in the 1980's and I remember the GNX model of around 1988 being the coolest. They are basically Regal 2 door coupes with turbocharged
V-6 motors that would run about 13.5's on the street right out of the box.

A buddy of mine bought one new, had it a hundred and something miles, and put his first set of rear tires on. The guys at the tire shop were shocked when they took the mileage down.
We were talking about that the other day, he said he never replaced the front tires, only the rear over 100 times.
I drove it quite a few times, early in the morning it was significantly quicker. Cool dense air with a turbo Mmm.

I was in high school when Chevrolet came out with its turbocharged Corvairs. Some guys up on Long Island hopped them up a bit for drag racing including wrapping the turbo and fuel lines in cloth that held dry ice. I recall those cars running in the 12's at a bit over 100 through the traps.

The buick car sponsor was probably a curse once he had more money than god. Think about it. You could be driving any car you wanted but your stuck in some old mans car. To prove my point, he's not driving a buick now that he has a choice. He should have held out for Audi, BMW, Mercedes, or even Cadillac but buick is a curse unless you like driving boats.

I think any fully paid for car would be cool. I agree that if I were loaded buick is not a brand I would look to buy, but if I had a buick company car I would like it just fine.
