    Your Eagles kicked our asses.

The wheels have completely fallen off the Patriot wagon.

Thanks but I think it was an extreme anomaly. Something like Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. referred to as something akin to "chronosolastic infundibulum" from the novel entitled, well, shit I forget which one but I read most of them back in the decades when I did psychedelic drugs.

The Patriots will recover and meet the Panthers in the Super Bowl where Brady will get his next and last Ring calling it a career as the best QB in football history. It was a great run while it lasted.

From my perspective as an Eagles fan, this game was just retribution for the 2004 Super Bowl in which McNabb puked a win away. I imagine that the only four participants in that game at the Foxboro venue this afternoon who were at that superbowl are Jeff Lurie, Bob Kraft, Brady and Belichick. This was, in effect, the Eagle's Super Bowl.

From your keyboard to God's eyes.
I would be ecstatic with that scenario.

I'm only musing here and not predicting, but I can imagine the Patriots, who lost a Super Bowl into which they went with an 18-0 record, getting for solace instead of their perfect season the opportunity to do the same to somebody else.

This game for Belicheck was not a must win. Although I doubted that he did anything to cause his team to lose, it didn't look like they were halfway trying to win until late in the game. A guy that football-smart would rather have them as a David instead of a Goliath going into the post-season.

How about them JETS!!!! Anything to keep the C-boys out of the win column.
My poor Giants have , once again, fallen apart.

    Patriots suck tongue

    Sunday is my no-golf day.

Enjoy your warm weather up there!

The Giants can still make the playoffs and, theoretically. win the Super Bowl. If the Eagles didn't have some of their players with heads up their asses some weeks ago, they could have beaten the Panthers. The Giants can beat them.

The stupid Redskins are going to make it difficult for the Eagles. And the game next Saturday is only on the NFL channel which I refuse, on general principle, to purchase. Fuck the NFL with a rusty wire brush sideways.

We pay for stuff like HBO and Showtime because I watch a lot of the premium channel Sunday Night shows as well as the HBO and Showtime boxing.
I wouldn't pay a nickel extra for the NFL Channel but here, it comes with basic cable.

I think one would be hard pressed to find a fan base that loathes the NFL as much as our Patriots fan base does. If the Pats were invited to join the Canadian Football League, I'd personally favor the move. Adding a few Grey Cups titles to the Lombardi trophies and not having to put up with either the idiot Goodell or the incompetent NFL officiating would be a nice change. The NFL is despicable. I was a staunch AFL fan back in the 60s.

We pay for HBO and Showtime and use it a good bit. When the NFL network first started, it was included in our Comcast premium channel package. After a year, there was some dispute between the NFL and Comcast and the cable provider was forced to charge extra for it. Fuck the NFL. Fuck the Cowboys. Fuck the Ravens. Fuck the Redskins. Go Patriots and Panthers.
