Just broke in a freshened 440 with some mildly worked over heads, and a voodoo cam by lunati, fresh trans, hooker headers, MSD 5c, ball bearing linkage, etc.. Built it for the wife!

Might put the drag radials on, and make a few passes at a local drag strip, on a cool guy night.

    It's a beater driver 71 Challenger 440 six pack with a 3.91 and a torque flight 727 auto and a 11" inch 3,000 stall converter.
It's a 12 second car, with enough engine to run 11s.
Needs paint! 20 year old plus mediocre job on it now.
The wife drove it to work today! I. Wouldn't let her drive it till I changed the oil pump yesterday. 70-80 psi in the morning 65 hot 30 idling. We ordered the wrong pump, or received the a stock new pump. Not enough for 500 plus hp, and slightly loose clearances.

I think you can click the video on photbicket after we broke the cam in. Fried it up a few hours later, and videoed it.

Yeah I found the video. Three deuces on that b!tch and sounds like tube headers too. When you first fired it up and it settled into what sounds to me like a 1,300-1,500 idle, I swear it was doing that Bo Diddley beat over my computer speakers. That motherfucker be making real soulful sounds. Sounds like a high 10's car if you can hook up good. Gotta love the dog trotting out of the garage when you start it.

The dogs not sure what to think of it.

There hooker 2" primary 3.5" collector, underchassis headers. Through flowmaster mufflers.
It's such a good running, torquey bastard!

    I thought you'd appreciate mongrel.
I may take a video of a pass with it, as it's a hairy car off the line.
It's more manageable if you roll into it. Wicked when all those carbs open.

    Have you top-ended it yet?

I've been watching the Mecum auctions on TV lately. Looks like that company is trying to beat Barrett Jackson for top dog collector car auctioneer. My mouth waters frequently at some of the deals. If I hit a decent lotto, I'm there like yesterday.

Quarter mile passes only a few, ok maybe more then a few.
The next few weeks are getting the bugs out, though we're driving it everyday when the weather permits.
I cleaned it up tonight, put gas in it, so she can drive it to her work tomorrow.
