Ferguson Prediction

We are hours away from the press conference on the unarmed officer shooting case in Ferguson, MO. I, of course, know exactly what is happening and why. What do you think is going to come out of this?











Answer: No indictment. The jury has requested a lag time between their decision and the announcement so they can get the hell out of St. Louis alive. I fully expect the rioting to be in several big cities.

I predict an indictment. White people are totally cowed. The definition of "civil rights" for some time now has been, thou shalt not hold black people to any standards whatsoever. If a black guy happens to have his hands on your neck, do not attempt to struggle, because that would be racist. And if a black woman has a face like Broderick Crawford and a butt the size of Alaska, be sure to tell her she's sexy, cuz she knows she is.

I predict no indictment and your logic is sound.  I checked CNN's ratings and frankly they could use a boost. So unsurprisingly their reports are tuned towards encouraging anarchy. I did think the segment featuring a fashion consultant addressing what one wears to a riot was a little bit pointed.

Back during the LA riots I was doing some real estate business at the periphery of where things burned.  That gives me no added perspective I just thought I would mention it.

Given the risk of a nationwide reaction by blacks I've gone out and gotten some extra supplies and I'm ready to lay low.  The only blacks here in Park city I've seen more than once has been a couple working out at the same health club as I do. I sure will not be going there after the announcement is made.

I definitely have sympathy for anybody who encounters the police whether black or whatever. My feelings on this have been made clear in the past. But politicizing judicial or legal action is just stupid, it's replacing one threat with another.

This country's been too quiet for too long. I remember the race riots Watts section of L.A. around 1965. In fact my father and I drove to LAX through it from La Habra. No problems on the main streets thanks to the LAPD. Those boys never took no shit. Gas is down to its lowest price in quite some time so I expect lots of Molotovs. Cocktails, that is. Many white people have gunned up since August and before so there should be fair fights. The more strife that ensues, the worse the federal government looks and its well past its time to jettison the current islamo-commies currently in charge. I'm no fan of the PO-leece but in this case my sympathies are with them. I bet that right now the shooter cop and his family are winging their way to some safe haven in the U.S. south or central America. I'm not good on predictions about opinions or verdicts when what evidence has been publicized comes from one side, only. I'm hoping for a will-not-charge decision from the Grand Jury.

I was watching CNN from about 7-8 EST last night while working out. How can anyone deny there is a slant to that outlet? Erin Burnett and her lists of experts were stoking the fires. Van Jones is perhaps one of the most disingenuous people I've ever seen. The whole network was outraged by the treatment of the Brown family and retroactively outraged by the actions of the prosecution (once it seemed likely their agenda would be thwarted). As a white dude in middle America, I know I lack the perspective of the inner city black community, but it is beyond the reaches of my empathy to understand that collective mindset. I've tried. I've given up.
Then again, maybe the outcome is exactly what was desired. CNN was obviously rooting for a non-indictment and violence across America. Better ratings, more analysis.

Here are my thoughts:

1. White apologism has gone from entrenched to hypnotic.

2. The CNN heads are devoid of intelligence and low on integrity.

3. The black masses are devoid of objectivity.

4. The police are stupid.

So the only real surprise at all in any of this is 1. The only exception to this I've seen so far has been Rudy Giuliani. The CNN tools roundly criticized him for speaking logic and truth.

I'm a businessman so far be it for me to be critical of someone out to make money. Nonetheless, to see journalists do it while fashioning themselves as adhering to some higher standard is insulting. They are whores but we have known that.

This is a "no-win' situation for that town... win: they would be happy and celebrate by looting, burning cars/building/business ... lose: they were angry and pissing off by looting, burning cars/building/business etc...

We're a nation in free-fall.

Ever since 9/11/01, we've been as oppressive a police state as any other, so if you're personally ok, it's too much to expect the same for your neighbor.

The United States of America are the most socially regressive of all developed nations in the world, and this condition is celebrated by our yahoos as "American Exceptionalism."

There is no American culture because we don't have an American ethnicity and we don't have any ideological solidarity either.

There is no education because education would be a threat to the Koch brothers and other corporate oligarchy.

There is no future because the future is for those with a plan.

Live for yourself, live for now, and don't procreate. Maybe it won't be too bad for you, but don't look for a future. This experiment is just about over.

Sorry, I've been kind of busy dating and catching up on football. Who is this Ferguson character?

That would be Maynard. He has a big band and he is its leader. They just came out with a new reprise of the '70's hit that is titled "Big Dead Michael Brown". The former baddest thug in the dung heap of a town.

I figured he was a musician. I saw a brief glimpse of the news and it looked like people were burning down local businesses and turning over police vehicles. Then there was marching in the streets followed by tear gas and riot gear. My first guess was that the Lakers had won. My next conclusion was that Colors 2 was now playing in the theatres.

The original Ferguson dancing show was live on TV in August. They were really quite good. I thought that whoever did the dancers' costumes was a bit over the top with those dungarees pulled down over their rumps with their bloomers showing. One of the more societally astute colleagues pointed out to me that this style originated in the prisons in the USA and that the trousers worn this way constitute an invitation by the wearer to engage in anal sex. So all the dancers were simulating a mass invitation to sodomize them whilst they carried their bottles of liquor they and just procured from the local spirits purveyor. The power of the music cannot be over-estimated. Cheers
