Sad to say, but GR is just as dead as this site. Same bunch of people over there as here.Horseballs wrote:Haven't you heard? We're back on GR.Player wrote:This site is really dead.
It seems to me, the only site that's doing anything these days is GolfWRX. Yeah, I know you guys don't like it there, but they get 10 new posts every 5 minutes. And some of the instructional stuff isn't too bad either.
Perhaps we should do what we did on MTBR....start our own sub-culture thing on WRX.

There is good golf equip info on other sites like WRX, Free Golf Info, Sandtrap, and I've learned cool stuff from the Pinoy Golfers, too. This one and GR are dead because FD may be too and golf in the majority of the Golfing World which is the Northern Hemisphere is nearing its season end except for the South and Southwest. And guys who are not totally immersed in the game have probably burned out for the year. As for the Southern Hemisphere folks, I would imagine that the ones from lands where English is the primary tongue are busy playing and not posting (with few exceptions).
Then maybe FD cashed out and sold this site to the GR ownership to quash the competition.
I would also speculate that new members here and at GR might be reticent to post because of the certainty of getting their newbie balls busted by the usual suspects.
