Has anyone else noticed the absence of a rather significant forum member lately? In fact, the founder of this fine establishment. What's your 20, FD?

Yes I have. I assume he's on vacation or something. I'm sure he'll show up soon raving about a new club or set of irons he's just bought that he's used to shoot 76.

    He can't be far away.

I know this, I wouldn't want to be the last to go. Think about those people who live to 105. Everyone within 20-25 years of them has already passed by the time they go. I'd rather go out in a blaze of glory.

Then I guess that this thing will just keep on running itself until it ceases. And then maybe its back over to the Old Place. Hell, Spank recently posted a really lame-assed assurance that it was once again OK for habitation. But once bit, twice shy, I say. Hope FD didn't hop up to Boulder for some surfing.

FD disappeared because TW goes down the toilet tube with all excuses...

I hope that's all it is. Hitching one's wagon to just one draft hoss can lead to ecstasy or agony and TW the Younger is currently below base line. Lorenzo has the right idea with his NFL favorites. In the Philippines, the ladies would call him "butterfly" because he flits from flower to flower abandoning the ones who lose and alighting and staying with the winners.

But I fear it may be more than that. As in an FD Loyalty Test. See who goes over and spends more time and effort over at the Old Place. So I am torn between my allegiance to FD and the camaraderie with the Usual Suspects who may be emigrating as we speak although it looks as dead or deader over there than it has been here, it that is golf possible. Another indication that Golf may be dying quickly.

Perhaps Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and time of year might explain it. The test will come next spring.

It isn't a loyalty test, FD would have wanted new blood before he died. I think you'd be honoring his life by migrating.

Perhaps I should work on the skill that several elderly residents of Rome exhibited throughout the recent millenia: bi-location. Of course the kaffir might query "How can you be two places at the same time if you are nowhere at all?"

To which I might reply "Feeling lucky today, punk? Are ya?"
