    Vijay's lawsuit Empty Vijay's lawsuit

I haven't been following this much but I caught some discussion of it on the golf channel and it got me thinking... IF this thing gets past all of the dismissal moves that the PGA tour has been trying it could be bigger than people realize. In discovery Vijay's lawyers will request all sorts of things rom teh PGA Tour, things that have been private and kept under wraps for a variety reasons. This could include any positive tests from players and disciplinary action... Think about it, Vijay get's outed for Deer Antler Spray but he knows other players, big name players, juice or use growth hormone, epo, clenbuterol, whatever, hell even recreational drugs... I'd be a little pissed if I were him, you're busting my balls about deer sack juice and this guy over here is using HGH and Test?.... This may be what the deal is with this lawsuit. And this may be the real reason why so many players are really pissed, it may be re-directed fear and concern.

Steroids in golf? I'd bet good money on it, any athletic endeavor where big money for performance is on the line is suspect, and these days it seems like everyone is doing something. Much like baseball, when players were tested initially it was private, not until it was leaked did names come out. In this case, as the PGA Tour is owned by the players, you could imagine how much tighter they would control this info.

Wanna know if Tiger really juiced? Wanna know who likes to go on drunken coke snorting binges? Vijay may get the answer for you.

This whole business shows what an ingrate dirt ball Singh is. How much money has he made from the generosity shown by the pga tour? He was rock bottom when they let him in, flat broke and kicked off the asian tour for cheating. Now he has more money than he could spend and a life beyond his dreams, thanks to the pga tour. You would think he would be thankful but no, his greedy ass wants more money, and he is happy to drag his former employer through the courts to get it. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.

I understand both of your positions. I have strong empathy with any older guy who has been racked with injuries trying to maintain his game so as to be able to compete at the highest level. On the other hand, the Tour has made him beaucoup pesos so biting the hand that feeds seems like the height of ingratitude. For me, however, the over-riding theme is hypocrisy. So the plaintiff's discovery in this lawsuit could be enlightening. Is it any of my business who's done what, where, when and why? No. Would I spend hours reading about other players' substance use if made public during the proceedings? Damn straight. Did I ever take anything to enhance my golf performance or ease pains so that I could play? Yep. Ibuprofin. Lots of it. So fuck*ing sue me.

By the way, the Walgreen's we go to near our home is across the street from "The Other Side of the Tracks" and frequently there are meth users inside the store walking around doing the "Tweaker Strut". Sort of remind me of Keegan Bradley's pre-shot routine. Seems I read he did live in a trailer for awhile when he was younger. Wonder what they were cookin' up.
