It's a funny game. My brother and I started playing golf with our uncles more than fifty years ago. Last year, I broke eighty several times at the age of 65.
This year, I've played twice and couldn't wait to be done each time.
In my case, it was simply over, instantly, over one winter. In your case, you might just not have quite figured it out yet. Stay with it as long as it's fun.
