I couldn't resist not getting a membership at this place. 2 championship courses, you never get tired of playing the same track.
One of the best practice, training facility's in the nation. Incredible dining. Spa, pools, lodging in rustic cabins, or the hotel, an over the top pro shop, you can demo the latest anything.
Last night they had a great band playing.

I've been the same way ky, I enjoy playing different courses.
The economy has caused some issues though. A very close 100 year old course was closed out of spite and malice. The new owners were failing after sinking money in a goatrack, and trying to open a restaurant with no prior experience.
    They were doomed to fail.
So they lose interest, and buy a struggling gorgeous tract of land with a spectacular layout. No restaurant this time.
Destroy the old course, all the old growth trees, and are turning it into a cornfield to piss off the surrounding property owners, around a lake area. There blaming the locals for there failure, and making them pay, after turning down a serious offer from someone I know, who would make it work, as he's in the restaurant business.
I supported the place as it was 5 minutes from the house. The course they just bought is 20 minutes away. The course I joined is 15 minutes, and the finest in are area.
Mystic hills another close course, lost there superintendent, and is suffering. So I'm going with the winners Swan Lake resort, with the US golf academy. 2 excellent restaurants, 2 pools, workout area, sauna, spa, tennis facility, indoor range, with multiple simulators, trackman, 3 bars, incredible outdoor range, hotel, cabins,Impeccably maintained, great staff.
Screw the jack offs in the world.

    Beautiful looking course 12.

Congrats man. Having two courses to choose from is great. My club has two 18 hole courses but only one is championship caliber. The other is more of a shortknockers goat track. It's still nice to have a second course when one is busy. Also the goat track is a good practice course. If you're playing poorly it's sometimes good to play the goat track to regain your confidence rather than getting beaten up on the championship course.

    Enjoy!

Very nice 12. As one gets older i think you start to realise its not just about the quality of the course but the quality of all a club can offer. When is was younger i enjoyed playing a lot of different courses, now its just as much about the bar i'm sitting in, the food etc and what ever else goes with it.

Thanks guys. I spent most of the day there yesterday, discussed some lessons for my child, among many other things. Played quite a bit of golf. That course is in incredible condition. Also there's a 9 hole executive course.
    Everyone's so nice, it's surreal.

Wow, pics look great, enjoy 12. So many benefits to private clubs particularly with kids. I for one prefer not to be around the public. Those are the people who watch American Idol, are in credit card debt, eat fast food, are extremely overweight and dress slovenly. I don't even like to park next to them. At Costco I have no choice but golfing? No way.

I belonged to a private in OC for over 10 years. Great friends, a refuge and game for Lorenzo jr., much less time for a round and 6 holes if you feel like it. Then there's getting smashed on Thursday night, Friday night etc., and spontaneous titty bar trips with the guys. I miss the old club. The current club in PC is filled with old guys.

Getting bored with the course (s) depends on the course (s). We had only one and I found it awesome every time I was playing well, awful when I wasn't.

I know it's about the golf, but the place is a meat house. I couldn't believe the hot women.
They had every beer on tap imaginable, plus some from a local microbrewery. I saw an extensive wine list, all on display 400 hundred on down.

The oysters Rockefeller was outstanding, with roasted spinach,'Italian sausage, roasted pepper, sambuca. Parmesan artichoke rainbow trout, out of this world. Chef Zachary Lucchese is da man.

I took a video of the band, not to sure how to post it. But they were pretty good.

By the way I watched 3 guys hit 2 balls each in the drink to that green in the top photo, the pin was tucked on the right.
I nailed it, a yard and a half more, and I would have hit the flag. I missed the 5 foot putt for the bird though. I pulled a Sergio.

The course called silver considered easier is about as difficult as the black course. Kind of a joke. When you break 80 here your a player, I have to be on my toes to beat them. It's tough. Wicked fast greens, you get off the fairway, it's not good, getting out of the rough is tough.
Great sand traps, and lots of water everywhere.
They pretty much let me do my thing here.

Looks like a beautiful place! Hope you enjoy it.
I'm not one to join a club yet as I still like to play different courses. I somehow feel I'd be locked in and obligated to play the same track day in and day out. Now, our place in Florida has 5 courses and that i would gladly join, but I'm not quite ready to retire and spend half the year down there, yet...

Part of the reason I joined was I parted with a place in Orlando, that's 500 a month in maintenance I don't have to come up with anymore.
I wasn't getting any help from family, and really didn't use it much, gated community with a crap course I really didn't enjoy. Though I saw an alligator there in a water hole.
I can't tell you how many dudes I met there who lost everything, on that course, that lost there homes, wives, jobs, sucking off there elderly parents. I had to get away.
This place I joined is a haven for kids that want to excel at the game, they host many tournaments. Plus many serious players come from Chicago or all over to get a tuneup, or stay and play. I know the guy that did the interior decorating for most of the place, it's seriously over the top.
So you don't run into the riff raff that surrounds me at other courses.

I think I'm gonna hit the course for a quick 9 around lunch, and hit the sauna afterwards, maybe a swim.
