Ok people, a serious question.
Does the fact I havepassed 40 mean I need to adjust my on course attire to stay in keeping with my age? The reason I ask is becausemy game is approaching a level where I will gain entry to hogher quality am tourneys where things like clothing get noticed. Im not a super flashy dresser (no white belts or bright orange outfits), but I do like athletic fit "young" brands like sligo and oakley. Im younger looking than my age and thanks to our obesity epedemic probably in the shape of an average 30yo, and I swing and hit the ball as well as a 20 something, but am wondering if I should accept old age and start wearing beige slacks, Greg Norman/Ashworth cotton pastels and saddle shoes. At my home club Im a gun and get away with wearing whatever the hell I want, but I dont want to be in big tourneys and attract attention as one of those old guys who should dress their age.
Flame away people, I will take on any criticism thoughtfully.
