[list][*]When searching for a parking space, you pull toward the front and sit there in your car waiting for someone to come out of the store so that you can get a space that's very close. You will sit there for 10 minutes waiting and you're in the way of people trying to get out. Why? Why not park 50 to 100 feet away and simply walk? It takes about 10 seconds to walk 100 feet.
Why do you write a check at the supermarket, or anywhere else for that matter? You can get cash back or airline miles by using a credit card. It's much quicker and you don't hold up people in the line behind you while you take out your checkbook, write it out and then wait for approval. Do you not trust yourself to pay off your credit card balance each month? There are no fees as long as you pay it off each month. Duh.
People that rent furniture and other household items. What are you doing? Why are you paying $25 a month to rent a Quazar DVD player? Does the $150 price tag and enormity of paying all of that money up front outweigh the idea of paying $900 over a 3 year period to rent the damn thing? Did you flunk bonehead math?
That brings up the concept of layaway. This is where the store keeps the item and you give them cash every month so that eventually it will be yours. Let me get this straight...you give the store money every month yet they still have the item in their possession. Hmmmm. Just think...if you put $50 a month down on that Mercedes and you pay $20 a month...you'll have that sh!t in about 300 years!
